Dear Southwest Community Members:
We are off to a fantastic beginning for this school year. We thank you for helping your children to prepare for this year. In addition, we appreciate your partnership with the smooth transition from middle school to high school. We are very pleased to accept this year's 9th grade class and we look for great things from them throughout their high school careers.
I would like to invite you to further commit your family to our successful partnership. We are working with the Lancaster County Community Group in participation of the Safe Homes program. Enclosed please find a Safe Homes Parents Network Pledge Form. We are asking our parents to consider making a commitment to this important endeavor. By signing this form, you are committing to three major efforts:
While this is not the exact verbiage from the pledge form, it does capture the essence of this project. Lincoln Southwest High School is a place where Safety and Learning are the highest priorities. I believe that this project will help us to keep our students safe and to set high standards for their behavior both at school and away from school.
Thank you in advance for your help and support of this project. Please do not hesitate to contact LSW if you have any questions or if you need any additional information. We appreciate your careful consideration of this offer. We have provided an envelope so that you may return your pledge form easily.
Take care,
Rob Slauson, Principal
