Student Center

Lincoln Southwest High School offers an environment in which students are challenged and supported to understand themselves, others and the world. High school is a time for intellectual, social, cultural and personal growth. Students spend plenty of time going to class, studying and building an academic foundation; however, high school also offers opportunities to connect with others, contribute to the community and learn about things outside the classroom.

Scholastic Art Awards - 2018

The 2018 Scholastic Art Awards have been announced and 31 LSW students received a total of 67 awards this year. This is the most awards at any High School in Lincoln and more than double the award total of last year. Scholastic Art had 3,700 entries this year and our students competed extremely well. An awards ceremony will be held in Omaha on Feb. 24th at 11:00am and 2:00pm (specific time for LSW students to be announced soon) to celebrate the winning entries and show off their work. Students that received an award can get more information from Mr. Petska or Ms. Leblanc. Congratulations to the award winners!
