As 2016 comes to a close, are you thinking about going to school in the New Year? Join us in December for one of our admission events - one on campus and one online - to learn how you can complete your bachelor's degree at The New School! We are still accepting applications for the spring semester - which begins on January 23. These are information sessions for our Bachelor's Program for Adults and Transfer Students - an undergraduate program that gives you the freedom, flexibility, and support to design a degree that builds on YOUR story.  At both sessions, we'll be discussing the academics, the transfer process, and application requirements for the Adult Bachelor's Program.

Through the Raise.me online platform, students in grades 9-12 can earn micro-scholarships from the University of Minnesota Twin Cities for their academic and extracurricular achievements, such as strong grades, rigorous coursework, or leadership positions.

The University of Minnesota Twin Cities' partnership with Raise.me is a pilot program. At this time, students with a GPA of 3.6 can earn micro-scholarships toward their enrollment at the University of Minnesota’s College of Food, Agricultural and Natural Resource Sciences (one of our seven freshman-admitting colleges). This college offers majors ranging from nutrition to sustainable systems management to animal science (see full list of majors below).

The micro-scholarships students earn on Raise.me represent the guaranteed minimum amount of scholarship aid they will receive if they apply and are admitted to the College of Food, Agricultural and Natural Resource Sciences at the University of Minnesota. Our admissions decisions are based on a holistic review of each student’s applications, and the details are online at http://admissions.tc.umn.edu.

If you have any questions about Raise.me, please contact Rachelle Hernandez, Associate Vice Provost for the Enrollment Management & Director of Admissions,  at 612-626-8378 or 1-800-752-1000.
