Please stop into the Counseling Center to get the application packet, which includes an application, short essay, and two recommendations. Applications are due 12/4; ask Mr. Peterson or a current Ambassador if you have questions about the program or process.

This week is FCCLA’s national Financial Fitness Week to help educate their fellow students, the second block independent Living class has hidden play money around the school. If you find a piece of play money, take it to B100 anytime after first lunch to answer a trivia question about finances to win a prize.

Attention all athletes wishing to participate in LSW Track and Field this spring who are NOT participating in a winter sport there will be a short informational meeting regarding preseason track and field training on Monday, November 20th at 3:15pm in the A118 Forum. If you are unable to attend, please see Coach Schuster in room A114 or in the A117 TPC for more information.

On December 14th, the LSW Holiday Boutique, sponsored by the Boosters. It's an opportunity to eat at the FCCLA soup supper, shop at over 20 vendors' booths, and enjoy holiday music from Dr. Simpson-Kirkland (4-7 pm) & the Jazz Band Concert (7-8 pm) Vendors contribute a portion of their sales to the Adopt-A-Hawk Fund, which is used to purchase gift cards during the holidays for students and families who may be in need of extra assistance. We also use the funds throughout the year to assist students/families as needed! Last year, vendors contributed over $1,000 to the Adopt-A-Hawk Fund.

There will be a Hope Venture Club meeting in the Media Center tomorrow after school.  Not sure what Hope Venture club is??  Stop by and meet Cynci Petersen, the founder, and find out how you can make a difference to children half way across the World!

Looking for something fun to do after school on Thursday? Meet in the commons at 3:15 by the entrance to the cafeteria. FCCLA and Healthy Schools will be hosting a scavenger hunt and pizza party.

In need of homework help? The Library holds free help and tutoring with homework in the Academic Resource Center on Tuesdays during PLC and Thursdays after school! The writing center is also available to help with papers and essays for classes.
