Research Opportunity: Survey for Parents On Student Summer Activity & Supports

Dear Parents,

I am a professor in the School of Education at Boston University and am conducting a research study to understand how children spend their summer and, in particular, whether they access academic and social/emotional supports in the summer months. We believe that this information may be useful to school districts in identifying resources that can be helpful to families in the summer.

As a parent of a child in Lincoln Public Schools, I am inviting you to participate in this research study, which will involve completing an anonymous online survey that will take about 10 minutes of your time.

All information provided will be confidential and will be used to better understand the experiences of children and families in the summer and to provide information to school districts about resources that might be helpful to families. If your school district would like, we will provide a report describing what we have learned. Because the survey is anonymous, it will never be possible to identify individual children or families.

Thank you for your consideration and please reach out to me with any questions.
