Walking on the peaceful beaches of Normandy, it's hard to imagine the violence and valor of June 6, 1944. However, D-Day - and so many other crucial moments of World War II - come into focus when you set foot in war rooms, battlefields and memorials that altered the course of history. From London to Paris to Berlin to Munich with an extension to Austria, consider the significance and remember the sacrifice of the Allied victory.
This is a fantastic opportunity open to all LSW students and is our first ever trip to Europe to explore the history of World War 2. This trip will be in June of 2020, and will include stops in London, Normandy, Paris, Berlin, Munich, Dachau, and much more. We will be holding a mandatory parent information meeting on January 17th at 6:30 in room A113, but if you would like more information you may contact Danna Moore (firstname.lastname@example.org) or Alison Kelley (email@example.com) directly. Don’t miss out on this once in a lifetime opportunity!
