The LSW Ambassadors organization is looking to add members for this school year and into the future. Ambassadors are a group of students who help new students transition to LSW. They serve as hosts/tour guides during open house, registration, 8th grade transition activities, and other school events. Ambassadors are tasked with promoting a positive environment at LSW! If you are interested in joining, print and fill out the application, then return to Mr. Sederberg or Mr. Peterson in the Counseling Center. The application deadline is November 16th. This information can also be found in your grade level Google Classroom!


Hello Hawks! Are you interested in showing off your talent? Then try out for STAC the Halls Nov. 14th, 15th and 16th! STAC the Halls is a holiday concert being hosted by the “Students Together Against Cancer” on Dec. 15th. Sign up sheets are hung up outside the office and the bulleting board in the E-wing.  Begin your family holiday celebration with the SILVER HAWK THEATRE CHRISTMAS SPECTACULAR - Silver Hawk Theatre Christmas Spectacular will be Bob Henrichs' 100th Theatre Production that he has directed!  The cast and crew will be made up of current LSW Students, LSW alumni, and anyone who has been in the cast/crew in one of Mr. Bob’s 100 Shows.  This production will be a musical holiday stage show that combines singing, dancing, and humor with traditional scenes. Santa and Mrs. Claus will lead us through preparations for the big day by reading letters from kids around the country which lead us into amazing musical theatre production numbers with elves in the workshop, dancing toy soldiers, a tribute to snow, an excerpt from The Nutcracker Ballet, dancing reindeers, and ends with a living nativity scene complete with wise men, angels, and live animals!  There will also be a live chorus onstage singing along throughout the show! Performances are: December 6, 7, 8, 2018 at 7:00 P.M.; December 8, 2018 at 2:00 P.M.               

LSW Booster Club: Online Store Up and Running:  The Booster store now has a website in which you can order clothing from, however, there is no discount.  You can continue to shop in the booster store and receive a discount but not on any online orders.  The new website is:

Challenging classes?  LSW NHS offers free tutoring every Tuesday during PLC in the media center.  If you are interested in a one-on-one tutor you can fill out a request form on the LSW website to be matched with a tutor as soon as possible.

C113 computer lab is back open for business after school! Students staying after school in need of a quiet place to work can check into the lab. It is located across from the nurse’s office.  The lab is open from 3:15-5:00p.m. Monday, Tuesdays, and Thursday. Wednesday it will be open until 4p.m.
