2019 Prom and Post Prom Information

 

Junior and Senior Prom is Saturday, May 4 from 8:00-11:00 p.m. at the Pla Mor Ballroom. Tickets are $15.00 per person. Tickets go on sale Tuesday, April 30th. Juniors and Seniors may purchase tickets Tuesday after school, Wednesday before school, at lunch, and after school. On Thursday tickets may be purchased before school and at lunch. Thursday, May 2nd, at lunch is the LAST time to purchase tickets! All fines will need to be paid and prom requirements met before students will be eligible to purchase tickets for prom. Don’t wait until the last minute to pay your fines or purchase a ticket!  Students bringing a guest from another school MUST complete a Dance Permission form and turn it into the main office BY APRIL 26th.

PROM REQUIREMENTS

Reminder about daily attendance expectations about prom.  Daily attendance may effect eligibility to purchase dance tickets. Maintaining good academic standing includes making daily attendance in classes a priority. Students must have less than the equivalent of 10 days of truancy during the current semester of prom in order to be eligible to attend the event. Parents and guardians are allowed 2 school days to make corrections to attendance records if a student is marked truant (TR) when they should have been called in for a Parent Acknowledge (PA) absence.  For additional requirements for prom and dances see our Student Handbook

Post Prom 2019: Champions Fun Center

Midnight - 3:00 a.m. 
Tickets: $20 per person
No admittance after 1:00 a.m. 
No Re-entry policy after arrival. 
Tickets will not be sold at the door
Signed Parent Participation Waiver Required (see below)
 
Tickets will be available for purchase along with tickets to the dance to streamline the process. 
 
Parent Waiver For Participation At Post Prom:
 
Students who intend to purchase Post-Prom Tickets must turn in a signed parent permission waiver in order to purchase a ticket to the event. I have attached a copy of the waiver to be completed by the student and parent. Copies can be picked up on the front desk in the main office. Post Prom Volunteers Needed:
 
We are in need of parents to help chaperone our post prom event. We are fortunate to have two LSW parents, Janet O’Shea and Amy Fendrick, taking the lead on Post Prom so that our students can have a fun, safe post prom experience.
