Seniors: What do GoPo hours and graduation have in Common? To graduate, GoPo hours must be completed ASAP, especially for students who have an Incomplete from Terms 1, 2 or 3 because of not completing hours when taking GoPo during one of those terms. If in doubt about the status of your hours, contact your GoPo teacher!
This message is very important for LPS Seniors (graduates) with data on Google Drive that they wish to take with them. EVERY Senior is encouraged to retrieve this data prior to leaving LPS. Even if you are unsure if you will ever want it, it is very important to grab it NOW. As soon as you leave LPS (even the day after leaving) your files are no longer available to you.

2019 Graduates-- Please check the list of potential 2019 graduates posted on the Attendance Office window to make sure your full LEGAL name is spelled correctly. Diplomas will be printed as shown. See Mrs. Cornell, Registrar, if there are ANY changes.
LPS Summer School will be held at North Star from May 29th through July 11th. Interested students may visit with their assigned counselor and register according to the following dates:
Late registration ONLY will be held from May 28th - 30th at North Star.
Tuition for Summer School is must be paid at the time of registration and costs are listed below:
Students are reminded that they may only have 3 absences during summer school. This includes absences due to late registration or illness. For students who are wards of the state, the HHS guardian must have a completed State Ward Provider form attached to the student's summer school registration form prior to completing the registration process.

The Annual Faculty Play is May 20 and 21st. The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee will have 12 of your teachers becoming tweens and compete to be the winner of the bee! Tickets are now on sale! Student tickets are $10.00.
All students interested in playing football next year should attend an informational meeting on Tuesday May 14th at 7:30AM. If you cannot attend see Coach Sherman to get the needed information.
Any students who are interested in helping the football team next year should find Coach Sherman. We are always in need of people to film and help with equipment.
All Library books are due on Monday, May 13th. Seniors, this is especially important for you, books NOT returned on Monday, 13th will be moved to a LOST status and a fine will be added to your Synergy account. This will prevent you from being able to pick up your cap and gown on Tuesday, May 14th. So round up your books and bring them down to the Media Center!
If you are interested in joining Yearbook or mass Media, stop by C110 to pick up an application. If you don’t have time to stop by, scan the QR codes on the signs posted throughout the hallways to access an application. Applications are due by Friday May 17th.
Attention 9th graders. Youth Leadership Lincoln provides an interactive, hands on experience in which students focus on developing skills and a life-long commitment to community service. Swing Night is this Friday with doors opening at 6 p.m. and Dance lessons beginning at 6:15p.m. Come listen to some swing, Latin and funk music provided by the LSW Jazz Bands. Tickets can be purchased in advance from Jazz band members for $7.00 or you can pay $9.00 at the door. See you Friday!
Just a reminder: new lockers are assigned each school year. Please clean out all items from your academic and PE lockers. Anything left after finals on Thursday May 23rd will be removed and donated.

LSW has a year-round food pantry available to all LSW families. Student or parents can fill the form out online— enter jump code BCY3 at lps.org to get there— or stop into the LSW Counseling Center to get set up, either as-needed or on a repeating basis (standing order). There are a number breakfast foods, canned goods, and lots of yummy things to eat right away or keep in your cupboards for later, all for free! Let us know if we can help.
