Welcome to the 26-27 School Year!
Greetings Silver Hawks!
This school year will mark our 25th year serving the Lincoln Southwest community. We look forward to welcoming approximately 1800 students to the building in August. Hopefully the summer is treating you and your family well and school may seem a distant point on the horizon. Our goal with this summer mailing is to help you be ready when the time comes, so you can keep enjoying your summer break. Inside you will find some general school information and dates, as well as annual reminders about completing enrollment verification, Chromebook device coverage, and applying for free or reduced lunch and fee waivers if applicable.
Our kick-off to the 26/27 school year is School Readiness Day on July 27th from 12-3 PM and 4-7 PM. Students will have a chance to get an updated photo for IDs and the Yearbook, as well as checking out a locker, acquiring a parking permit, or walking their schedule to get familiar with the building. Counselors will be available by appointment on that day as well, if you have a schedule change request that can't be facilitated through electronic communication.
To make the day as smooth as possible, we encourage parents to first complete the online enrollment verification, athletic participation packet, and fee payment at MySchoolBucks (all available through ParentVUE on July 15th).
